Halloween

So of course I have to put up pics of our Halloween, (better late then never) We had a blast. We started by carving pumpkins.

I always like to see what the kids will do when I put the opened pumpkin in front of them, well Bruce loved it, he kept looking at me like 'this is ok for me to touch, right on'

 Dylann on the other hand hated it, she screamed and did not want to touch it for the life of her.

 Then I told her Bruce likes is, so of course what ever he does she can do better.

 So when Dylann was a baby, on her first Halloween I took a picture of her in a pumpkin, she hated it.

So of course on Bruce's first Halloween I had to do it again, he hated it.

But doesn't he look so much like a toddler, he is only 8 1/2 months people. STOP GROWING BRUCE

 After we dyed all the pumpkin seeds, to make some fun pictures, I thought this look pretty

 We went to this great thing in our town, and they had all these great things for kids, it was really fun, Trick or treating, dancing, hay rides, cookie decorating, and a hay maze.

 Here is Dylann in the maze trying to find a way out, she did really good, I just followed her, and she found her way out, I love this face she is making.

 Oh the hay ride, the kids loved it. Funny story though, so while we were waiting in line. They filled one before us, So we are just hanging out looking around, and there is this girl that is sitting on the hay with her back to us, and seriously her whole butt was hanging out. Major mooning going on. (she had no idea), so we are all laughing under our breath, then this little girl behind us was like, really loud, "what girl is showing her butt crack" So then every one starts laughing and looking extra hard to find the girl with the butt crack.Super funny.

We had a lot of fun too. We went trick or treating the Thursday before Halloween, I didn't take any pictures, it was really cold, but Dylann had a blast, and Bruce couldn't move b/c he was so bundled in tons of clothes.

So another funny story, this one about Dylann.

On Monday, the day after Halloween, I went to Kroger (grocery store). My mom happened to be there at the same time, so we shopped together. We were just walking around, and this Muslim lady walked by, you know the ones that have every inch covered. Here eyes and face totally covered, then she had sunglasses on top of it.

All of a sudden Dylann screams really loud 'AHHH, its a monster'

My mom and I freak out, my mom starts laughing, and I try really hard not to laugh and explain to her that she is not a monster, she is just hiding, (Dylann loves to put a blanket on her head and say she is hiding, so she started to understand)

Well at least this women was talking on the phone so she didn't hear, I don't know how b/c Dylann was really loud, but yea. It was one of those moments where kids say things in the store and you have no idea how to react to them.



Shutterfly

Ok so have you ever been on Shutterfly? Well I have, they have some super fun and cute things. They also have lots of great deals. I got 2 free photo books from them, I got one for my mother in law for her birthday, and filled it with pictures of the kids, and then I got another one for mine and Danny's 5 year wedding anniversary. I put all the pictuers from our wedding and then adding the ones from the past 5 years.  They both turned out so cute.

Well right now they have all of these really great and super cute holiday and Christmas cards.

They have all of these bright and fun colors, and not to mention all of the pictures they use are of these wonderfully good looking kids. So it makes you want them even more.

One busy Day

 Oct 9 was filled with great things, we had a super busy and really fun day. First we had a baby shower for my sister Mallory. She is pregnant with her first, she is having a boy. They wont tell us the name of the baby so I started calling him Porter, isn't that a cute name? Well Porter is due Nov 11, I think she will go before that, but thats ok, he can come when he we wants. Porter will be the 4th grandchild for my mom this year. WOW 4 baby's, all the daughters and a baby. First me with Bruce, then Margo with Bryn, Nikki with Grant, (he just came, he is such a cutie), and now we are just waiting on Porter.

Anyways back to the crazy busy day, here is the shower,

 The shower turned out really good, I didn't take very many pictures so I stole some from our families website.

So after the shower we went to get our pumpkins, they have this awesome place by our house where its all you can carry for $15. You can never have to many pumpkins.

 They had a lot of different things too, like a carriage ride, and painting masks for the kids.

Then after the pumpkins we had to rush home to ger to the main event!!!

The triplets got baptized!!!!!

It was so great. I am so happy for them, it was so special.

In our church we get baptized at 8, b/c thats when you should know the difference between right and wrong. go here for more info.

Here is my sister with her beautiful family on this wonderful special day

Katelyn and Dylann besties, eating ice cream after words. After the baptism Dylann kept say she wanted to get baptized, it was so cute.

Then after this super busy day, we all went to my aunts house to have dinner and hang out with the family that came from out of town to celebrate the great day. Well my super cute cousin gave us all another surprise, she put her papers in to go on a mission, I couldn't be more proud of her. Go here for more info. I am so happy for her, she is so amazing and she is going to be such a great missionary, I am going to miss you Alex, but you are going to do so much good. Congrats Alex

Wow what an amazing day, oh yea I almost forgot my other super cute cousin found out that she is going to have TWIN boys, wow, yea congrats Kimmi we are so excited for you guys. Boys are really a lot of fun.

Dylanns ballet show

Dylann's ballet class had a parents day, so we could watch a little show and see what they have been learning.

Dylann loves the idea of ballet and being a ballerina.

But she hates that me or her dad can't stay in the class with her.

She is afraid of us leaving her. I don't know why I have never left her any where.

Well so our cousin told us to try and give her something to hold on to, so she would know that we are coming back.

That is that little blanket/rag thing she has in her hands.

I didn't care, she went in for the first time without crying and did her dancing.

YEAAAA.

I couldn't believe it, then all the parents were able to come in and watch the show.

They did some warm ups first.  

 Then they showed us their dance, it was so perfect in so many ways.

Danny and I couldn't stop smiling.

she only wanted to watch us.

thats ok, it was still so cute.

 

Watching her dance was such a proud parent moment.

I think I was more excited than she was.

I am afraid I am turning into a stage mom

I have been taking so many videos and I don't post any of them so here are some of the best ones. My kids crack me up all the time. I just can get over how funny they are some times.

This first video we were just playing soccer in Dylann's room, (I know don't kick balls in the house, but everything was ok).

Hair Show

                                                I am trying to get caught up.

I went to this awesome hair show the weekend of Oct 3-4

Oh my gosh it was a hair stylist dream.

I tried to keep the pictures to just of few of my favorites.

I also tried to get the ones that people would love to see

When ever you get a big group of hair stylist together, there has to be some really CRAZY hair.

I loved it.

I learned some really cool techniques. Like tye-dye/spray paint, how cool does that sound for your hair? I mean really its a temporary hair color, and its tye-dye/spray paint for your hair. I wish I had blonde hair for that one, (it only works on blonde's)

So here are some of the highlights of my time, (no pun intended)

 Ok so this class I went to was so cool. The girls sitting down are models, the woman leaning over is the one doing the class. So she walks in takes a RAZOR and starts chopping at the middle girls hair. Then goes to the girl on the left and takes the CLIPPERS to her hair, at this time all of our mouths are wide open in shock, hair is flying every where. Then she goes to the girl on the right and takes SCISSORS to her hair and just goes crazy. They all turned out great. What a cool class.

 These guys are the ones that invented these really cool razors, I use a lot, (kinda celebrity's in the hair world)

So I got some pink extensions,

Dylann loves them too, she keeps asking for pink in her hair, and keeps pulling mine to try and get them to go into her hair.

Little convo with Dylann

We just got this awesome tent form my mother and father-in-law.

Dylann wants to sleep in it now, nap isn't for another 2 hours

She is having so much fun 'sleeping' and playing princess castle.

She just came up to me,

asking me to take off her shirt, (she doesnt' know how to take it off)

I told her no she needs to keep her clothes on

So of course after over a year of trying to teach her how to take her shirt off

she does it in like 2.5 seconds after I told her not to take it off

she is so proud of herself

(did you know that if your belly button shows that means your naked, yea its true, so right now she is yelling

"I naked, I naked" and then giggling)

So then she goes back into her tent

She comes back with what I thought was her shirt, telling me to hold this,

I look up and this time she is really naked,

I tell her to put her clothes back on and she laughs and goes back to what she is doing

I am just watching her and she is talking to herself.

this is what she is saying,

"Oh no I have to get ready,

I have to take a shower"

She goes over to the window and goes behind the curtain

"I take a shower, la la la

I need my towel"

her freshly washed blanket, that is nice and warm from the dryer

"ahh that's better, back to work"

wraps the blanket around her

"I a princess

good night mommy"

She cracks me up, I love that girl. She is always saying and doing the funniest things

Side note: oh yea Bruce is up on all fours, trying to crawl, he is all over the living room, into everything,

his favorite place to be is either under the 'hot coca' table or over at the shoes.
