One 2 many

Bruce doesn't sleep in his crib yet, he is still in our room. The reason why is b/c we are afraid that Dylann just might kill Bruce with too much love. Well I put Bruce in the crib while I take a shower. Dylann loves to look in on Bruce all the time. She likes to give Bruce her bear, and then reach in and take it back.

Well the other day she starts screaming "baby Bruce has my bear", I tell her to get it.

Well this is what I found when I went in the room.
Well she climbed up in the crib with him. She is so crazy. She thought that she was hilarious. Bruce liked it he was laughing at her. Of course after I took pictures I took her out and told her not to do it again. Well of course she did it again the next day. This time I watched her and what she does is trows her bear in the far corner so then she has to climb in and get it.

Now I am really scared about putting Bruce in the same room with his sister, b/c we just might find them asleep together. Cross your fingers.

Frog Jump

Dublin had this big Frog Jump this weekend. We had to check it out, b/c Dylann loves to get dirty sometimes.

We just thought we were just going to watch but, we got to race the frogs ourselves. Dylann thought this was the best thing in the world.

Some of the frogs were like she size of my head, huge really huge frogs.

So Danny had to help her pick one out b/c they just kept jumping all over the place, Dylann and her frog, she couldn't wait to start the race.

After the frogs we went to the bounce house she did not want to stop, but who would?

A huge slide that she really didn't want to climb up. Finally we got her to climb up there, and once she went down she wanted to do it over and over again, silly girl.

Bruce slept the whole time till the end. Then he was all smiles, so cute.

The Frog jump was so much fun, but so hot. We all had sweaty heads when it was done.

We will be doing this again next year.

Our Fun Little Get Away

We had to get away for a bit, so we went down to Kentucky with our best friends the Roessners. We went to Ikea and the Newport Aquarium. It was so much fun. Ikea was the best of course, I think Danny was getting mad b/c I wanted to keep buying everything. What can I say the closest one is 2 hours away so we don't get to go every day. After Ikea we went to our hotel, we had to get one with a pool of course. Dylann has been asking to go swimming for weeks now and to go to the beach. Dylann had the best time, she didn't want to leave she kept saying

"I swimming mommy, swim mommy, swim daddy" With our friends Liz and Olivia

Bruce is so happy in the morning. I just want to eat him up, so cute.

We went to the Newport aquarium, it was so much fun. They had so many different fish and some reptiles, it was totally worth the 20 bucks per person. We saw these spider crabs, wow they were so big. Dylann hated them can you see it in her face? I couldn't stop laughing, I know I am such a mean mom.

Bruce really liked looking at everything. He was so happy the whole time, even without a nap.

We unfortunately got attacked by a giant octopus.

All is well though, Dylann was saved by a giant frog.

They had a lot of jelly fish, they were so pretty. I could just watch jelly fish swim all day. They are so graceful, like a sweet melody. I can't believe I just said that.

Danny and Bruce are almost as tall as a shark, of course Dylann wanted to get in on it.

We got to touch sharks. They felt so weird. I was so scared, they kept saying, "make sure the eyes pass you by before you put your hand in the water to touch them." WHAT, so your saying you don't want them to see us or they just might think we are food and eat our hands. That to me just say yea its ok to let my little girl stick her hand in shark infested water. Well of course I am not that smart so here is a picture of my Dylann touching a shark. I think I must have taken crazy pills that morning.

We had so much fun with our little weekend get away. We will be doing this again. Thanks to our dear friends for coming with us and dealing with our crazy kids. It was so nice to get away. I love spending time with my family and friends. Both the kids did so great in the car which was so great they slept almost the whole time both ways. It was Bruce's longest car ride so far.

Some fun things

We have been keeping busy around here. One of my new favorite things to do is to look at craft blogs. I have gotten a lot of really cute ideas for our house. I wish I could take credit for all of them myself but I really can't.

This one is a book self made out of pallets. Danny made this for me. I love it, I am really happy with how it turned out. Its so nice b/c now Dylann can really see all the books she has now. We were totally pooped out with all that's been going on, and Bruce is not a very good sleeper. I love to take naps, so it kinda works for me.
Dylann loves her little brother so much. I caught her reading to him, so cute.

This is what I was talking about when we were sorting out the M&Ms. I made these really cute cupcakes for Memorial Day. They are supposed to look like mini pies. (chocolate with peanut butter frosting too good)

I just finished this tonight, We have been looking around for a cute piggy bank for Bruce and have been very unsuccessful. So I made one that I am so in love with. You put the money in through the hood scoop.(through the back).

I have a few other things that I am working on, I will post them when they are done.

We just keep getting more busy with the kids getting older. Bruce is right on the verge of rolling over. Dylann is our little artist. The other day she stayed in the kitchen coloring for 2 hours. I can't believe it, that was the best day ever.

What a cute girl

Last night there was this really bad storm and I mean like flash flood, tornado sirens going off. The thunder was crazy loud and lots of lighting. Right before it got really scary loud, I was putting Bruce to bed and I could hear Dylann talking, I went in her room and she looks at me with her hand to her ear and says,

"I hear it, the dinosaurs are out side"

How can you not just laugh and think she is the cutest thing in the world?

Then there was this really loud clap of thunder, it even made me jump and then I hear this scream. That scared Dylann so bad she was freaking out, so I brought her down and had her watch So You Think You Can Dance with me and her Nana.

After a little while I had her go up stairs and she was still a little scared. She started saying this.

"go to bed dinosaurs, they are all done mommy they go to bed"
