Day 13, Hump hair

Hump Hair?
Why am I calling it hump hair? Well b/c when I was curling it Dylann said "mommy I love your hump hair, make mine like that too" I tried telling her its curls not humps, but I kind of like it now. So here is my 'hump hair'
I loosely curled it with the curling iron. Then to make it a little different I pulled the side back and pinned it with bobby pins. Then I added a little hair flair to it.
This hair flair, flower, is something I made. If you send me your pics of your braids you could win one of these. I will try to make it with colors you like. So send me your braids by Friday.

We celebrated my brothers birthday early, b/c he is in town, So I made him this awesome plate of spaghetti, I mean cupcakes for his birthday.
No really I promise they are cupcakes.

Day 12, Side pony

Side pony
I could not for the life of me figure out what to do today. I started out with this style and it just didn't look right. Then I went to about 50 others, which most looked like ones I already did. Still none of them looked right, then I realised that I still had no make up on. Do any of you feel like a hair style doesn't look right till your make up is done? Well I did my make up and did my first style again and it looked pretty good.
I didn't just do any side pony tail. I added 2 braids. One going around my head to help with all the short peaces, so I don't have to use to many bobby pins. and another on the other side to balance it out.
Then I covered the twisty with my hair and pinned in place.
I will try to come up with something much cooler for tomorrow. I promise.
Don't forget to send me your braids by Friday, maybe one lucky person will win something. Send them to scissorhappy62@gmail.com

Day 11, Twister

Twister
Today I really didn't want to do anything. I really didn't want to spend time on my hair. So I had to do something really easy. This what I wore all day long.
It really is the easiest thing ever. So easy that I made a video, and I didn't even use a mirror to make sure I was making it look good.
This is from the video.
It such a great style, it changes every time you do it. This took me less then 5 mins.

Day 10, Ballerina Bun

Ballerina Bun
This is so hot right now. I have seen it all types of stars, from rock stars, reality stars to movie stars. Its really easy to do too.
Just pull it up in a high pony tail. Then wrap your hair around and make a big bun and pin in place. Its so easy and such a classic.

Day 9, 3 little pigs

3 Little pigs
This is one of the easiest things ever. It also looks really nice, you can make it really crazy or really sleek. I did a little bit in between.
I first parted my hair into 3 pig tails, I started with the middle one and made a messy bun, then made the buns on both sides as close as I could to the middle one. After that I pinned them together, pinned different peaces of hair that I didn't like. Then sprayed it with hair spray.

Day 8, Everyday Snooki

Everyday Snooki
Whats with the celebrity names? I don't know but, I love it. I love to copy celebrities. So I have a guilty pleasure, I love Jersey Shore, I know trashy. Its like a car crash, you just can't look away. My favorite is Snooki, I tried to copy her hair but more classy, and not so clubish. I don't know if thats a word but it is now.
I just back combed the top like crazy. Then I pulled the sides back and pinned it up. So the pin helped to keep the hair up high.
More modern, more calm and much more stylish.

Day 7, Lauren Conrad Braid

Lauren Conrad braid
Why do I call it the "Lauren Conrad braid?" Well I first saw it on the Hills. I know the Hills, whatever you all have watched and loved it when it first started.
A little trick, after your done, pull at the sides of the braid to make it fatter and more even.
Dont forget to send me your photos of you sportin your favorite braid!! scissorhappy62@gmail.com
