Utah trip, Tue-Wed

Tuesday was the main reason we went out to Utah,

Danny was going to baptize his nephew Travon!!!

We were all so excited and couldn't wait for this super special day

 My father-in-law, Travon and Danny right before they got dressed. My father-in-law did the blessing and Danny did the baptism. Travon was so excited, it was so cute, I don't think I have ever seen him more happy. We were all just as happy as he was.

 After the baptism we all went back to the house to have a bbq, here is Bruce getting some love from his daddy b/c he wants all his food.

 Bruce was being so silly, he was trying to get on the bike but some how he got all caught up in it. I couldn't stop laughing, he thought it was pretty fun too.

 One of my best friends from college was able to come, we haven't seen each other in a long time. We were super crazy in college and I think we still are a little crazy.  

 Me and Lindsey, I miss her already!

 My best friend from high school lives in Utah to (we grew up in Ohio together and then she moved out later). She just bought a house and I was in envy. I love how Dylann is posing in the middle

 Andrea and I, all growing up people would think that we were sisters. I don't see it, but one guy kept calling us twins. I don't think he was all with it.

 So Wednesday while I was busy with Andrea, my father-in-law surprised Danny and Travon. He took them to go shoot machine guns. Danny was like a little kid in a candy store.

 Danny wants everyone to know that he only had one shot outside of the target with a machine gun. He is still dreaming about it and he now wishes he can get one.

Couple of more days, I am working on them.

Utah Trip Sat-Mon

Danny and I went to Utah for a long over due trip

Danny's family lives out there and its been over 2 years since we have been out there.

We decided to drive, It was hard.

It took us 30 straight hours to get there.

 We gave Bruce a piece of chocolate and he had it all over him in a matter of sec,

but at least he was happy!

 When we got there Dylann wasted no time making friends. Dylann was in heaven. She had 3 girls right around her age to play with all day for over a week. I don't think she could have asked for anything better.

 That night was the Orem days, they have fireworks. I like to think that Utah was just celebrating that we have arrived. Hey a girl can pretend right?

 We went to Thanksgiving Point on Monday to there Dinosaur museum, Dylann is really into all things dinosaur. We have never been there so we had to check it out.

 They had this really great water area for the kids. They can play in the water and sand making things for the play dinosaurs. Dylann did not want to leave

 Dylann did not want to be up close and personal with the t-rex, but we just couldn't resist

 She's got the whole world in her hands.

 At the very end they have this thing were the kinds can dig for dinosaurs. Dylann loved playing in the sand, She didn't want to leave, she was so mad at us when we finally pulled her out.

 Bruce on the other hand was really unsure about the sand, he just stood there the whole time.

Big things coming

We are going to Utah on Friday,

We are really excited its been over 2 years since we have been, and a lot of friends and family haven't even met our little man, Bruce, yet!

We are driving out to Utah and I just can't wait to hang out with Danny the whole time.

He works full time and goes to school part time.

I also work part time, so we really never get to see each other.

So a full week together is what the Dr ordered.

Also I wanted to try something new on this blog.

When I get back I am going to start a 30 days of hair.

Since I do hair, and most days my hair is up in a pony tail.

I wanted to challenge myself to do something different to my own hair every day

I am really excited but really nervous.

I am also going to tell you what products I use, and maybe do some tutorials,

So you can do them too.

here is a girl I work with, something I just did to play around with.

Fish tails are really big right now.

My sister Mallory is also going to start this same thing on her blog.

So you will have to check it out too.

I don't know when she is starting, but mine will be in about a week.

Book Review

I haven't ever done one of these before
But I just finished this book, about a week ago
I LOVED IT

 I was a little intimidated at first,

The book is over 600 pages, and the font is really small, filling the whole page,

It was well worth it,

Its about witches, vampires, and demons (not the scary kind)

I had a really hard time putting it down,

If you liked Harry Potter, Twilight, Matched, Hunger Games or any of those kind of books, you will love this book.

Its filled with a lot of history, adventure, love and magic.

One thing I loved about it is its clean. Its not filled with unnecessary sex, gore and swearing.

It is also a trilogy. The next book comes out in 2012, can't wait!!!

Dylann turns 4

My baby girl turned 4

Her birthday was May 18,

I can't believe how big she is, she keeps saying "mommy I am still 4"

So we started the day off with singing to her in bed, waking her up with the birthday song and presents

 She loves pancakes so Danny made her a '4' pancake,

She thought it was the best thing ever.

 Dylann wanted to get wings for her birthday dinner,

so we went out for it.

The balloon guy was there and made Dylann some pretty awesome balloons

She couldn't sit still in her seat waiting for the guy to come over and make her a balloon.

 I made her some chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes for our Sunday get together.

 My mom made her this awesome skirt, She has been wanting to wear it non stop!!

Dylann had a great birthday, She was so happy to have all the attention on her.

Dylann you are such an amazing little girl. We love you so much, thank you for letting us be your parents. You bring so much joy into our lives. You are such a funny girl, you say the funniest off the wall comments, which make us smile all the time.

Walk in the Park!

Race for the Cure!!

Danny and I were able to do the Race for the Cure, We had so much fun. There was so many people there, it was record breaking.

He we are waiting for our race to start, we just did the family fun walk, the kids had so much fun.

 It was so great, all the cops were sporting the pink wigs

 This was not even half of the people. I think there was over a million people there.

 We had so much fun, We went with one of our best friends, and her 2 kids, We want to do it again next year, and make a shirt for Dylann saying 'save my future tatas' and one for Bruce saying 'I am a boob man'
