Coloring eggs

This year we colored eggs for the first time. Dylann was so excited for it, she has been asking to do it for over a week.

 Danny has never blown eggs, So we had to do it this year. He did pretty good for his first time!! ha ha

Hair cuts

I gave Bruce his first hair cut on Friday. His hair was so long, He had this point going on in the front, and a mullet going on in the back. Time to cut it for Easter.

 After Dylann had to get her hair cut too. Even though she is growing her hair out like Rapunzel, So I just took a little bit off.

The kids looked so great when I was done, Danny even got a hair cut too. That is something b/c I takes me weeks to finally give him one.

My 27th Birthday

I just can't believe it, I am 27 years old.

My birthday was on April 10th.

When I was younger, I have always dreamed about being 27.

It was kind of like 13 going on 30, (love that movie)

I always dreamed about how I would be married, have 3 kids, live in a huge house somewhere warm and sunny. I have always thought about how cool it would be when your 27. I mean your not 30 yet and your a little older than 25. People are just so much cooler when your 27, (in the eyes of a 13 year old). I mean really everyone I met when I was younger, that was 27, they seemed so cool, they had it together.

Well I am 27 now, and I am so scared!!

 I can't believe it.

I guess the main thing I think about is, I am going to be 30 in 3 years.

What? I am not that old. Oh boy.

Now I know some of you are like "you are just over reacting, I am already 30"

but come on, you can't tell me that when you turned 30 you weren't freaking out just a little bit. I mean I still feel like I am 20, like I just graduated from high school. Umm yea next year will be 10 years.

Wow time flys.

So some of my dreams have come true, I am married to a wonderful, handsome guy, I have 2 of the 3 kids that I wanted. I don't live in a house or live somewhere warm and I have most of it together.

I had a wonderful birthday. We have this tradition in my family, that we have been doing since I was a little girl, that on your birthday the whole family wakes you up and gives you presents in bed. We have been doing that with our family too. This year was a little different. Both kids were really sick, and it was Sunday. So we didn't want to wake the kids up so early to sing. We have Church at 9. So Danny woke up a little bit before me and sang, but no presents. I went to Church by myself, (I have to teach primary) Danny stayed in bed, and stayed home with the kids.

We went to my moms and had a wonderful dinner, then we finally opened presents, (I know I am weird, I wasn't expecting anything. I would have been happy with a card) My mom got me some fun things. Then Danny brings me this big, huge box, I could not for the life of me think of what it could be. I open it up and this is what was inside

A new camera, I have been wanting this for a long time, trying to save money, (not very well)

I was so shocked. I am so blessed.

So far this year has been great. I am just hopping I become really cool in this year.

Parents night for Ballet

Dylann has been taking a ballet class once a week for the whole school year. She LOVES it. It has been the best thing for her. We love to watch her be so happy, and dance around the house showing off her stuff. She is too funny.

This past week was the parents night where they put on the show for us, to show us what they have been up too.

We were just playing around and this is what she came up with.

Newport Aquarium

We went to the Newport Aquarium, last week for a day trip. We had so much fun. My kids loved it. Bruce was so into everything, he loved looking at all the fish and pointing up and and talking to them, or hitting the glass. Which I know is not a loud, but he is a baby what harm can he do. Well We took so many pictures, that I didn't want to bore you with all of them so I made this cool thing my friend Ashley told me about. Its called Picasa. Its free too. I love it, enjoy our pictures.

We had a lot of fun, we will be going again. Too bad its so expensive. 

 St Patty's Day, it was kind of a last min effort. So I pulled out the green food coloring and tried to find different things to color green. We all wore green and drank green milk.

 I made green pancakes for the kids and me for lunch, they were all for it. I had to pump myself up for it. I know that it wouldn't taste different but they looked a little weird for me, It was so much fun, Dylann wants do do a pink day next. Dylann is holding my attempt at a 4 leaf clover.

 

That night Danny and I were able to go to a hockey game. It was our first pro hockey game ever. We don't know anything about hockey. The only thing we know about hockey is that they get into a lot of fights. So we were hoping for a good fight. Well we were in luck, they had a fight in the first quarter.
