Dog Bite

Sunday night we went for a drive, when we got home our neighbors where outside with there dog.

If you know my kids they LOVE dogs, mostly Bruce LOVES dogs.

We started talking and the kids started petting the dog.

There was one on each side of the dog

Bruce got a little to lovey in the dogs face.

The dog got spooked and went for Bruces face.

It happened so fast that I didn't even see it.

All of a sudden the owner yelled at the dog and it backed off, Bruce is screaming on the ground and Danny is running to him and picked him up.

We pulled his hands off his face, and there was blood every where.

We didn't even get a good look at it and just got back in the car to go straight to the ER.

I ran so fast to get the insurance cards and then in the back seat with Bruce.

(That is fast for a 6 month prego women)

We checked in and waited, we wiped some of the blood off and this is what we find.

This is right when they took us back, So about 2 hours after it happened.

Thank goodness he didn't need stitches, just a good cleaning and some antibiotics.

The people next door felt so bad, they were waiting for us when we got home, and wanted to hear everything that was going on.

They felt so bad, they paid for the whole ER bill, which is $200. 

We told them they didn't need to pay for the whole thing b/c it was also Bruce's fault. 

I am grateful that it wasn't as bad as we thought.

 Front view- You can see the cut right above his eye, that is were all the blood came from, and we were worried it was his eye ball or went through the whole eye lid.

We are so grateful that it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

We are grateful for Dylann trying to be such a good girl as we were rushing to the ER. 

She kept talking about the dog and its sharp teeth.

We told her not to talk about the dog any more.

This is what she said "ok then I will just talk about sharks"

We couldn't stop laughing.

She really was trying to keep us (I mean me) calm.

Update

I have been the worst blogger ever. So I thought I would do just a little update.

Ever year Danny's work gets into the St. Patty's Day Parade.

Danny usually is dressed as a frog but, this year he was an Irish Viking.

The kids love to watch their daddy in the parade every year. They think its so fun to get all the candy, yell and wave at daddy as he goes by.

The weather has been so awesome, so we have gone to the zoo a lot.

We went this one time and this monkey was all over Dylann.

The picture was not that good b/c of the glare.

 Danny was able to go to the BYU game when they played in Dayton.

It was really cool! He went with my uncle, two brother-in-laws, and nephews.

Bruce really wanted to go, but he was there in spirit.

My birthday was April 10

Someone came and knocked on our door at 9:30, it was 2 guys from HHGregg,

They were bringing me a new washer and dryer!!!!

WHAT?!?!?!

I was crying! My wonderful aunt and grandma got these for me.

It was amazing timing, b/c our other ones were being held together by duct tape and were literally falling apart as the guys were taking them away.

Thank you so so so much!

 Bruce is into everything!

He loves to play with everything and everyone.

He loves to eat, if his eating is working against his playing he just shoves all the food in his mouth as fast as possible.

 Sunday April 22, I was 26 weeks. We are still not finding out what we are having.

Some people think we are crazy but, it has been so much fun.

It keeps changing on what we think the baby might be.

We don't care, we just want a healthy baby.

I am going to try to blog more.

So I hope people are still reading!

P.S. Were not having twins!!! hahahaha

Happy Easter

 I know its late, and I haven't blogged in forever. I just have been really busy and having no desire to blog. I know it is horrible. I need to do better. I am trying

We had Easter, it was wonderful. The kids loved it, they loved finding all the eggs and getting new clothes for Church.

 Right before Church, Dylann loved her new dress, Bruce just loves having a tie.

 After Church, we went to my aunts house with the whole family. We had another egg hunt. Bruce could not get over it. He had the best time.

Happy Easter, we had the most wonderful time at Church and there were the best talks ever!! I love it.

Bruce turns 2

On the 19th Bruce turned 2!

I can't believe how big he is getting!!

We wanted to do something fun, but not that big,

so we just got together with my family and had dinner and a cake.

I made my first cake from scratch, everything from scratch, it was really yummy.

Our hand mixer broke a while ago,

and you need a mixer to make a cake,

Danny came up with the best idea ever...

 yea a drill with the wisk, He is so smart.

 He could not wait to get into that cake he wanted to blow that candle out so bad, Danny had to hold him back.

This year was so much different from last year. This year Bruce couldn't get the cake fast enough.

Bruce has been such an amazing part of our life!!!

I am so greatful to have him in my life, he is the funniest and happiest boy in the world. He his talking all the time and is so into his big sister Dylann. Every time he tells us anything it is always about Dylann. Bruce never walks, he only runs!!!

We love you little man! I can't wait to see what your life holds for you in the upcoming year.

Rainbow Car

On the way to school today Dylann was talking all about how we need to get a new car b/c she wants a red car. This is how it went...

D-We need a new car b/c I like the red ones

M-but I like our car its really awesome!!

D-no its not red

M-ok well why don't we paint it

D-thats a great idea mom!! So after Bruce's birthday than its Katelyn's birthday, then its your birthday and then its Bryn's birthday and then its my birthday, and we can buy some paint. but we need a latter

M-why do we need a latter?

D-so we can paint the top. I got a great idea, daddy has one

M-where does daddy have a latter?

D-at work, so we will get a latter and paint the car RED!!

M-well I think we should tell daddy about this first

D-no its a surprise.

D-I have a great idea lets paint the car RAINBOW

M-I don't think daddy will like that very much

D-yea he will he will say (in a really high voice) 'Thats a great idea Dylann, lets paint the car Rainbow'

M-I am not sure about that, have you seen a rainbow car?

D- yea, daddy will love it, he will say (in a really high voice) 'what a great idea'

D-lets call daddy right now

Needless to say Danny was not up for it, and wanted to know why his voice was really high when she talked like him.

(now as I write this she is bending over shaking her bum in my face laughing, and asking if I see her bum)

New Years Eve

Happy New Year!!

So every year we celebrate the New Year at 8 so the kids can have fun with it too. Not this year! My cousin got married on New Years Eve, it was so much fun. Her colors were silver, gold, and anything sparkle. This was such a fun wedding, we were able to bring Dylann with us. Bruce was able to come to the pictures and then we took him home with a babysitter and he was so good. Dylann had a blast, she danced the night away.

 This is Dylann, Katelyn and Jada, my cousins daughter. Dylann loves playing with Jada, she gets so excited whenever she comes. They were so cute playing together all weekend.

 Right before dinner, they had filet minon and lobster. Wow the food was so amazing.

 They had an aniversery dance, and my grandparents won, they will be married for 60 years this summer, They are so amazing and I look up to them so much.

Then they had dancing, Danny was mad that I didn't put this pic on facebook, so I had to put it on the blog.

Dylann danced all night long, she didn't take a break the whole time.

My brother was able to come with his beautiful girlfriend. She is the cutest and most fun girl. We really had a great time meeting you Jessie.

Christmas Morning

Merry Christmas, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas I know we did.

Christmas this year was on a Sunday so we got to go to Church in the morning, at 9.

So instead of waking up at the crack of dawn we woke up in time to get ready for Church, and took our every year pic of the kids on the stairs. I guess they were still a little sleepy.

 Santa covered all the presents so we could focus on the real meaning of Christmas. We were able to get ready for church with no complaining. Our ward had the most amazing sacrament meeting, we had all music, it was wonderful. Dylann and Danny both sang, Danny with all the men in the ward and Dylann with the primary. It was so wonderful to just think of Christ for the first half and not worry about the presents or Santa.

Then we were able to go home and change back into our pjs and open presents

 This year we did things a little different. We only got the kids 4 gifts each, with a good stocking. My kids get so many gifts form there grandparents that they just don't need to get a million form us. Plus last year we got them so many things but we got them cheap things so they all broke or were not played with. So we really wanted to get them just a few and a little nicer stuff.

Bruce got new unders in his stocking. We are going to try to potty train soon, wish me luck.

 Dylann got a new Rapunzel doll, which she loves!!

Christmas was so wonderful this year for us, we had so much fun spending time with family. Finally telling our families that we are having another baby, in July. Sykpeing with Dannys family, and just hanging out with each other.

December is a really long month in our house, Danny has to work about 60 hour weeks. It is just so busy at work that there is just not enough hours in the day to do it all. So we missed him a lot! It was just so nice to get 3 full days to hang out with him!!!
